It is typical of tropical seas, its meat, is redder and darker than that of other tunas, it is used in canning. It is also distinguished by the striped features that run through its body.
Gray or blue tuna that inhabits warm waters between 18º and 31º degrees. It gets its name from its characteristic yellow color finlets, anal and dorsal fins.
Large tuna,up to 210 kilos, named after its large eye and found in tropical and subtropical waters between 17º and 22º degrees.
White meat tuna also known as Northern Pretty or White Tuna. It usually sails the waters of the Cantabrian Sea during the summer season.
